Event Manager Wanted for New Micromobility Conference
This role is not with Bicycle NSW but with one of our friends, Bicycle Lane.
A major new Micromobility Conference & Expo will be held for the first time on 25th – 26th November 2022 at Randwick Racecourse, Sydney. If you share a passion for sustainable transport and the benefits that all forms of micromobility, including cycling and walking, can deliver and you're interested in an Event Manager role, then you can learn more and apply at seek.
The Micromobility Conference and Expo is a collaboration between two organisations with long experience in both the media and events spheres: Interpoint Events and Bicycle Lane, which publishes the Micromobility Report newsletter and website.
The Expo will feature exhibits from a wide range of companies with a heavy emphasis on test riding. There will be at least three separate test tracks on the spacious Randwick grounds. Expo admission will be free of charge to everyone who pre-registers.
“I’m passionate about making Australia a better place for our children and grandchildren to ride and I’ve felt for some time that a major conference of this nature is a missing piece in the puzzle that’s required to move forward in multiple key areas.” said Bicycle Lane’s co-founder Phil Latz.
Under the overarching theme of ‘Go Further With Less’ the Micromobility Conference will consist of four themes of:
- Making it Right
- Making it There
- Making it Happen
- Making it Pay
