Thank you for your interest in becoming a Bicycle NSW accredited Ride Leader. In order to become accredited you must complete the Bicycle NSW Ride Leader Training Course.
The course will enable you to lead rides for groups to enjoy the fun and health benefits of bicycle riding, in the safety of a well-planned ride.
The Ride Leaders Course is designed to take you, as an experienced group rider, through a series of exercises to give you the knowledge, skills and experience to competently – and confidently - lead a group of riders.
Ride Leader Candidates must be a member of a Bicycle NSW Affiliated Bicycle User Group and be a Bicycle NSW Member before they undergo the training course. If you are already a BUG and Bicycle NSW Member, please contact your BUG executive for how to start the training course.
