Roads and Maritime Services have released plans for the widening of Boundary St between Pacific Hwy and Archer St.  The plans include minor improvements for bicycle users on the North side of Boundary St where a shared path will be provided between Hill St and Archer St.

However, in general the widening of Boundary St will increase the speed and volume of traffic travelling along Boundary St, thus increasing the danger faced by bicycle users.  Bicycle NSW recommends that a bridge is built over Boundary St to provide safety and efficiency for bicycle users.
