The Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for the Woolgoolga to Ballina Bypass is now on display for community comment. The EIS has been prepared to seek planning approval to upgrade the highway to four-lane dual carriageway (two lanes in each direction).  

The EIS also includes detailed information relating to noise, heritage, ecology, access, agriculture, socio-economic and flooding impacts associated with the proposed upgrade.
