History of Successful Rides

Bicycle NSW has a history of organising and partnering with successful riding events that pull the cycling community together. Here are a few highlights from rides and testimonials from attendees:

  1. Sydney to Gong Ride: One of NSW's most popular cycling events, the Sydney to Gong Ride has been a well-loved tradition since 1980. This event delivers a challenging and scenic ride while raising funds and awareness for multiple sclerosis (MS). Registrants usually ride in support of friends or family members affected by MS, adding a personal tribute atmosphere to the event.
  2. Free Guided Group City Social Ride: This event, organised in collaboration with HelloRide, offered cyclists the opportunity to ride newly released e-bikes and engage with experienced riders and bike advocates. The ride took participants through some of Sydney's most established cycleways, providing a great start to the day.
  3. Centennial Parklands Social Ride: Another collaboration with HelloRide, this event took cyclists through the scenic Centennial Parklands. Bike riders enjoyed a leisurely afternoon ride, making new connections and exploring one of Sydney's most beautiful parklands.
