Have Your Say
In order to make NSW better for all bicycle riders, we evaluate and comment on plans for state significant infrastructure. This is to help government and developers do a better job of meeting the needs of people who ride bikes. The Sydney Gateway Road Project is one of these.
Maintaining or increasing travel by bike during infrastructure development projects helps reduce congestion and pressure on road and public transport infrastructure which also benefits project managers and non-riders.
We have completed our evaluation of the latest version of the Sydney Gateway Road Project. Your engagement sent the original plan to remove connections to the Alexandra Canal shared path 'back to the drawing board', and this is part of the process of getting a final set of plans.
We encourage you to have your say by the 19th of December 2019.
