What is Buncheur?
Buncheur is a software platform configured for Bicycle NSW to showcase our Bicycle User Groups' NSW Ride Calendar in one place.
Note that some BUGs may have their own system for organising rides.
How do I set up Buncheur for my BUG rides?
Step 1 - Bicycle NSW set up BUG on Buncheur
If you can't find your BUG on Buncheur, contact us to sort it out with Buncheur.
Step 2 - BUG members make their individual accounts
The BUG contacts who will be creating rides in Buncheur need to sign up to Buncheur.
Step 3 - Buncheur activate Ride Leader permissions.
Email us the accounts (email addresses) of the Ride Leaders and we'll organise for Buncheur to activate these accounts with permissions to create rides.
(Note: This is a manual process so each BUG can oversee who is allowed to create rides for their BUG.)
Hooray! Your team is now ready to create rides!
Documentation
Below we have a number of documents to guide you through the process of using and uploading rides to Buncheur.
Q&A
Although it is rare for BUGs to charge for rides, there is the occasional situation where a BUG may want to organise a charity ride to charge an entry fee to raise money for a good cause.
In these cases, the BUG must email Bicycle NSW copying in two BUG executive members to confirm that a particular user should be given Treasurer role on the Buncheur system. This is done manually to ensure that BUGs retain oversight to who can update the bank details for that BUG.
Once this is actioned by Buncheur, you will be able to add bank details to the account.
