Bicycle NSW held the inaugural NSW Bicycle Forum on the 17th of October 2019.
The main issues for people riding bikes were discussed by representatives of each of the major parties, Bicycle User Groups, Councils and stakeholders with an interest in bike riding. Bicycle NSW facilitated a discussion of the issues and actions required based on case-study of the fatalities that have occurred in 2019.
Thank you to those that attended and provided input. However, anyone unable to attend on the day, we have produced a report for download.
“We appreciate the effort everyone made to attend and contribute,” said General Manager of Public Affairs, Bastien Wallace.
“It’s time NSW became a better environment for all bicycle riders,” said Bastien.
Bicycle NSW encourages everyone with an interest in safer roads, less congestion and reducing pollution to read the report and use it to call for change wherever you are in NSW.
