Helping people who are vision impaired or living with a disability enjoy the freedom on riding a bike.

Started by the Central Coast Bicycle User Group, the RidesAssist program is aimed at providing a safe space for those people living with vision impairment and other disabilities the benefits of riding a bicycle.

A tandem bike is used for the program with a pilot at the front and a stoker at the back. Pilots are experienced and trained bike riders, and the stoker is usually a person who is vision impaired or living with a disability. All pilots undergo training in order to provide the stoker with a fun experience in a safe environment.
