Come and join in the fun on the Tour de Central Coast 2021 – a celebration of the beautiful Central Coast combined with the excitement of the Tour de France!
Central Coast Bicycle User Group (CCBUG) has created the Tour de Central Coast to help people keep motivated through winter but also to encourage them to soak up the sites of the Central Coast.
About The Tour de Central Coast
With 2 courses, Challenge and Cruise, everyone can join in the fun. Each course has 6 stages to be completed over 6 weeks, finishing on the Tour de France final day 18th July. The Tour de Central Coast starts on Saturday 12th June, so get ready to ride!
The Challenge course is designed for more experienced and longer distance riders. Each stage MUST be recorded on Strava as part of the “CCBUG Tour de Central Coast” group (just ask to join) to be counted. Stages may be attempted in any order, and each stage may be attempted more than once during the period to improve your time. Only your best time for each stage will be included in the award calculations.
The Cruise course offers anyone wanting to participate a more achievable course, but still with some challenges. Cruise stages must be attempted on scheduled CCBUG rides with the ride leader recording your effort.
