After a period of delay related to pandemic, the updated Wylde BMX and Mountain Bike Facility will be completed in early 2022.

Led by the new Greater Sydney Parklands agency, the updated facility is being delivered by the NSW Government and Liverpool City Council.

The $13.5 million, 86-hectare project was described by Minister for Planning and Public Spaces, Rob Stokes MP as “...the biggest pump track in the Southern Hemisphere,” and featuring “...a looped sequence of rollers and swoopy turns designed to maximise momentum.”

It is hoped that the facility will host future national competitions and grow into a major sporting hub in Western Sydney, complementing the range of leisure and lifestyle options already available for residents and visitors to the region.

Indeed, with over 60km of tracks and trails Western Sydney Parklands is quickly becoming known as a premier NSW cycling destination, with the existing Wylde BMX facility attracting over 30,000 patrons a year.
