Bicycle NSW wishes to convey its condolences to the family and friends a male rider who died after he fell from his bike and was hit by a car around 7am on Saturday 17 April.

Bike fallen over on road

A group of men were riding in a group along Quakers Road when a 55-year-old male rider fell from his bike and was hit by a car.  The rider died at the scene.

Quakers Hill Police Area Command have investigated and are seeking anyone who witnessed the collision or events leading up to it. Anyone with information about this incident is urged to contact Crime Stoppers: 1800 333 000 or https://nsw.crimestoppers.com.au.

“We are deeply saddened by this news, and our hearts go out to the family and friends of the rider,” said Bicycle NSW General Manager of Public Affairs, Bastien Wallace.
