Berowra - Wisemans Ferry - Kulnura -Laguna - Wollombi - Broke
Go for Broke is a one day 180km bike challenge held on Saturday the 21st of September. The ride starts in Berowra on the northern edge of Sydney and finishes in Broke in the Hunter Valley. The ride is tough but we ride together in pelotons and support each other and the great work Lifeline does.
For both guys and girls, young and old, from whatever walk of life you’re from, we want to share how riding through exercise and riding with mates can help us beat depression. In 2018 we hoped to raise $30,000. Instead the 70 riders who completed the entire route raised $33,193. This year we’ll stop registrations at one hundred. Our goal is to raise $50,000. We think we can do it. Help us help Lifeline and donate directly to Lifeline or support one of this years’ riders.

1-31 October, 2019
In 6 years, our community of 55,774 riders from all 6 states and 2 territories have ridden a total of 13,341,418km, and together we’ve raised $16,300,890 in support of research to develop better treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.
Why? Because cancer is the largest killer of children from disease in Australia. Over 600 Australian children are diagnosed with cancer every year and sadly, 3 children die every week.
We're riding to give these kids the brighter futures they deserve, and we believe that any one individual can make their personal impact to fight cancer and save little lives.
So we’re calling on all Australians to get on their bikes this October and join our movement to kick cancer’s butt!
