New Push for Minimum Passing Distance Compliance

The NSW Police agree that Minimum Passing Distance legislation must be enforced – but we need your help! Bicycle NSW was very proud to play a key role in the establishment of Minimum Passing Distance (MPD) legislation when it was introduced in NSW in 2018.  Minimum passing distance laws had been a long-term goal for Australia’s bike riding community.

Community pressure to complete an off-road walking and cycling route from Bega to Tathra has ramped up! An ePetition to fund the Kalaru to Bega section is now open for signatures on the NSW Parliament’s website.
