Team Bicycle NSW was, and is still, shocked by communities impacted by the bushfire emergency gripping Australia.
Above all, we're saddened by the tragic loss of life, scale of destruction, impact on communities, heartbreaking stories of homes and businesses destroyed, and all the perished animals.
Yet, we are also proud the Australian Spirit is strong in times of trouble. We are in awe of the commitment, dedication, selflessness and care shown by so many people and organisations.
When people are in need, others respond. We have seen contributions of all kinds make a difference because of kind and generous people.
Likewise, as the staff of a community focused non-profit organisation, Team Bicycle NSW feels desperate to help.
Bicycle NSW will donate $10 of every Membership purchased or renewed between now and February 9 to the Foundation For Rural & Regional Renewal’s Disaster Resilience and Recovery Fund.
With many worthy charities and initiatives to choose from, we choose FRRR above all because of the their focus on the medium to long term community needs, not just the immediate aftermath. Help us to rebuild bushfire impacted communities.
