Bicycle NSW is excited to announce that Mike Tomalaris has joined us as our Ambassador for the next 3 years.
Mike has supported the growth of and interest in cycling for the past 30 years in his role at SBS, commentating on the Tour de France. He is also a keen recreational bicycle rider. Our new ambassador credits bicycle riding with helping him lose weight and become fitter, as well as improving his mental health through socialising with friends.
Mike understands the importance of bicycle riding for the individual, the community and the environment.
He talks about the year ahead and about his role as ambassador for Bicycle NSW: “I want to continue in broadcasting and continue in my role as a cycling advocate. I feel I have a job to do. I want to put as many ‘bums on saddles’ as possible, as riding a bicycle is a stress-free activity. It’s helped carve my career and I’m sure it will continue to help shape my future.”
On behalf of Bicycle NSW and our Members, we warmly welcome Mike Tomalaris in supporting cycling advocacy and in creating a better environment for all bicycle riders.
